Description
The BROAN-NUTONE RDF1 Premium Radiation Damper is a fan accessory designed to help prevent the rapid spread of fire to other areas of a home by interrupting airflow when high heat is detected. It is intended for use with fans and ENERGY STAR qualified fan/lights in 1, 2, and 3 hour rated floor-ceiling and roof-ceiling constructions. When air temperature passing through the damper exceeds 165°F, the fusible link melts and the thermal fabric closes across the damper to create a flame and heat barrier.
