Unlike the CFS Sure-Lok that has the ability to lift and rotate the unit to a different radial position, this Tilt-Lok simply remains stationary at the base and only allows the electronics unit to be adjusted on the vertical axis. This rigid mount allows ZERO movement once it is locked in position and is great for situations where there is no need for the spring loaded rotating base supplied on our standard CFS Sure-Lok mount. Unlike other electronic mounts on the market, the Sure-Lok unit is not to move even in the roughest conditions including extra large HD units. The Sure-Lok utilizes a cam lock mounting action to secure the electronic unit from moving. Other manufacturers use a ball joint with a foam padding which breaks down through wear and tear. When the padding disintegrates the unit quickly begins to slip and can cause damage to your valued electronics. Additionally, our unit comes with three separate ways of mounting the unit to the boat. You can mount the unit to the boat by using our thumbscrew mount, track mount or permanent mount all mounts come standard when purchasing this unit.
