Claw, Rip & Framing Hammers

Framing hammers are used for constructing wooden housing frames. They are considered to be a rip hammers and feature either a straight or curved claw. A framing hammer usually weighs between 20 and 32 ounces when they have steel constructed heads and 12 to 16 ounces when they have titanium constructed heads.
