Cooling racks are wire racks used to elevate food off a baking sheet or pan to circulate air around the food to cool it evenly and prevent the bottom from becoming soggy.

Cooling racks are perfect for cooling baked goods like cookies, cakes, pastries, breads, and pizza. They can also be used for draining excess moisture and for roasting vegetables or meat.

There are many different types of cooling racks including rectangular, circular, and multi-tiered racks. They can be made from different materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, or coated wire.

Place the cooling rack on a flat surface. Place the baked goods, vegetables, or meat on the rack. Allow the food to cool completely before handling.
