The Coping Cue CardsTM Distraction Deck is a deck of cards designed to help kids learn healthy coping skills. The Distraction Deck has 44 coping skills cards with simple distraction strategies children can use. Play is a natural stress reliever for children, and this deck offers tons of play ideas to help kids decompress. Sometimes kids also need to take a break before they're ready to deal with their stress, anxiety, or anger. This deck offers lots of ideas for creative and fun ways for kids to take a break until they're ready and able to process their thoughts and emotions. We know that not all coping skills work in all places. To make it easier, we've included cheerful divider cards to help you sort skills by different settings like when traveling, at school, at social events, and in stores & restaurants.
