Copper Green Flat Brown Oil-Based Wood Preservative Spray 14 oz

A copper naphthenate and hydrocarbon solvent wood preservative that may be brush applied for surface protection of most woods. Dip soaking or pressure impregnation of copper green will result in deeper penetration resulting in longer preservation of treatable species. The copper in copper green reacts with the cellulose of wood. As a result it is not easily lost from the wood by leaching. This formulation extends the service life of wood products.

• • This product will turn wood brown but has no UV protection and will fade back to original green color
• • Use to prevent deterioration caused by decay, fungus, mold, rot and termites
• • Paintable within 24-48 hours with an oil based or alkyd product
• • For end cuts of pressure treated lumber
• • Dries to the touch in approximately 48 hours
• • Requires 2 coats to protect wood surfaces efficiently
