ECO Funnel is the original screw-on safety funnel with a lid for laboratory waste disposal. ThisECO funnel is designed to fit a 5 gallon drum with Rieke FS-70 70mm NPS, 8TPI closure, alsocalled an FS70 or FS80. Patented funnel design features a latching lid with gasket to keep fumescontained. A removable large particle filter catches stir bars or other items. A detachable tube extendsinto the waste container to minimize chemical evaporation. Features include additional safetymechanism to prevent over-filling and secondary air-lock tube that creates a small air gap in wastecontainer, which causes fluid to back up temporarily into the funnel when the container is full. Afterthe screw cap adapter is loosened, the remaining fluid will safely flow into the container and notspill.
