Description
The ProMAXX line of Oil Tube Extractors (PTE) are designed to bite into the reduced sectional area where the O-ring seat is on the tube. That portion of the oil tube is recessed into the engine block. Due to the manufacturing process of forming the oil tube, the O-ring area becomes smaller and thinner in cross-section. Because of the smaller cross-section, they erode leaving only a thin portion of the tube intact.
