SS-1H Tack Coat Asphalt Binding Primer, 5 Gallon, Brown

Dalton enterprises ss-1h asphalt binder is an anionic emulsion designed for use as a tack coat for patching, paving, overlays and coating blacktop. Ss-1h promotes adhesion to blacktop bituminous concrete. It can be applied via spray, brush or squeegee and dilution is not necessary. Most all sprayers will work. Ss1h tack coat is thin and has an approximate density of 8.2 lbs per gallon. There is no aggregate in the material. The material will not clean up with water so a solvent will need to be used. Therefore the sprayer system must be able to withstand solvents to clean up. Tack-coat is a fluid chemical emulsion containing surface active agents to aid in wetting pavement surfaces. It is stable to mix with clean sand and coarse aggregates for the preparation of surfacing or patching mixes. Dilute with cool, clean soft water for use as a priming and tack coat.
