As a part of the PERFORM & PROTECT line of products, this grinder is designed with a KICKBACK BRAKETM and E-CLUTCH® technology. Additionally, this tool comes equipped with LANYARD READYTM attachment points.


  • • Brushless motor requires no brush changes

  • • Brake stops wheel in 1 second or less on average using DW8824 wheel

  • • The electronic Kickback Brake engages with maximum force when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed, quickly stopping the wheel, reducing the movement of the grinder, and shutting off the motor
