Disc Springs, also known as curved disc springs or disk springs, are a type of spring that is used to create tension and absorb shock in many industrial and mechanical applications. They are often referred to as conical or Belleville washers due to their shape.

Types of Disc Springs

Disc Springs come in a variety of standard sizes, shapes, and materials. Each variation can be used for different jobs depending on the application and environment they will be used in. For example, some Disc Springs are made from stainless steel while others may be made from hardened carbon steel.

How Disc Springs are Made

Disc Springs can be manufactured using several different processes such as stamping, forging, heat-treating, welding, grinding and plating. These processes help ensure that the finished product is strong enough to handle the pressure it will need to withstand during use.

Industries that use Disc Springs

Disc Springs are commonly found in industries such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace engineering, mining operations, oil & gas production facilities and other heavy machinery applications. Professionals working with these industries rely on the strength and durability of disc springs for safety-critical components.
