Description
The DIXON - D3S3 is a quick connect hose coupling designed for tool-free, rapid connection and disconnection of hoses or equipment at the end of a hose or pipe. It features a male hose barb connection, compatible with 3/8 inch inner diameter hoses, and is configured to form a sealed connection for fluid tightness when properly installed. The coupling employs an industrial interchange type and a sleeve locking mechanism to lock the sleeve mechanism to hold the connection. Its use spans pneumatic, hydraulic, and general fluid transfer applications. The fitting is constructed of steel with a zinc-plated finish and includes nitrile seals to maintain fluid tightness over a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F.
