The DIXON - 4PM6 is a push-to-connect hose coupling designed for rapid, push-to-connect coupling without requiring tools for connection and disconnection of hoses or pipes carrying water or air. It utilizes a push-to-connect locking mechanism compatible with Thor-style interchange standards (as applicable to the specified coupling dimensions and interfaces), intended to form a sealed connection using nitrile seals; sealing performance may vary with installation and operating conditions, rated for use with pneumatic or fluid transfer lines within the specified operating parameters. The fitting is constructed from steel with a zinc-plated steel finish and features a socket coupling component sized for 1/2 inch connections. It is designed to interface with hose or pipe ends having a hose fitting size of 3/4 inch and a 3/4”-14 thread size.
