This subtle cove moulding style features fine details and a simply elegant design. Cove moulding is most commonly used in crown moulding applications, but less specifically, it is often used as a decorative element between a vertical base and a projecting horizontal element. The concave form of cove moulding creates a detailed and smooth transition between surfaces while ornamenting the space where the two elements join.
