About Electronic Proportional Regulators
Most often used to measure the pressure in water or gas systems, electronic proportional regulators change pressure levels using an electrical control signal. An internal pressure sensor measures the output pressure of the regulator, and in turn provides a feedback signal to the controller. You’re most likely to see electronic proportional regulators in machine shops and manufacturing plants, but they’re also utilized in water and waste management as well as by utilities and energy producers.
