Lime FR Hard Hat Brim with Neck Shade

The Chill-Its 6662 FR Hard Hat Brim with Neck Shade attaches to hard hats and safety helmets to shade the face and neck for protection against both sun damage and fire hazards. With an ATPV rating of 4.6 cal/cm2 classified CAT 1 according to NFPA 70E, the fire-resistant fabric is designed for environments with electric arc flash exposure and won't melt or drip when exposed to a flame. This full brim shade fits most hard hats and safety helmets, with an elastic rim plus hook & loop attachments for securing to the suspension. A durable plastic ring makes sure the brim holds its shape, and a wide panel shade with UPF 50+ protection extends down for complete back-of-neck coverage. For a customized fit, the neck shade can be rolled away and snapped into storage when not in use. A darker tinted underside of the brim helps to reduce excessive glare from the sun.
