AlumaSeal II prevents evaporation, vapor loss, cross contamination, aerosol release and spillage from multiwell PCR or assay plates.This unique sealing foil conforms around individual plate wells to provide a positive and uniform seal. Medical grade adhesive has a thermal stability range of -80°C to 120° C with superior chemical and solvent resistance. AlumaSeal ll eliminates the need for other types of plate sealing methods such as mats, caps or heat sealers. Pre-cut sheets have a 125 x 82 mm sealing area to fit both skirted and non-skirted PCR plates. Removable end tabs allow quick and accurate positioning over plate wells. Samples can be easily recovered by piercing foil with standard pipet tips or metal robotic probes.
