This unique double-layer film consists of a clear, easily pierceable, adhesive-free polypropylene film bonded to a 96-well diecut adhesive polypropylene sublayer. This combination provides an adhesive-free zone over each well while ensuring a secure seal around the rim and between wells. Designed for 96-well microplates where well-to-well contamination and crossover is of critical concern. The easy-piercing film allows for direct sample recovery with single and multichannel pipettors or robotic probes. The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe, ultimately minimizing the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample.
