Exterior body panels are the metal or composite pieces that make up the outer shell of a vehicle. They protect the vehicle's interior from the elements and provide the vehicle with its shape and appearance.

There are many different types of exterior body panels, including fenders, doors, hoods, trunks, and bumpers. Each type of panel has a different function and is made from different materials.

There are a few signs that may indicate that your exterior body panels are damaged. These signs include dents, scratches, rust, and cracks.

If your exterior body panels are damaged, you can either replace them or repair them. Replacing a panel is a more expensive option, but it will result in a better-looking finish. Repairing a panel is a less expensive option, but it may not be as effective in restoring the panel's appearance.
