The solar panel charges the included rechargeable lithium-ion battery during the day and powers the lights for up to 8 hours at night. For best results, select a location with full and direct sunlight for at least 6 hours per day to install the solar panel; if installed in a shady area, the battery will take longer to charge, may not fully charge, and may reduce working hours. It is equipped with an on/off override button, allowing you to turn lights off at night, or on during the day (with a charged battery).
