Felt is a non-woven fabric made from the matting of wool, cotton, or synthetic fibers. The fibers are pressed together to form a dense sheet that can be used for a variety of purposes.

There are many different types of felt, each with its own unique properties. Some of the most common types include wool felt, cotton felt, and synthetic felt.

Felt is used in a wide variety of applications, including clothing, upholstery, insulation, and soundproofing. It is also used in industrial applications, such as gaskets and seals.
