About Flame Resistant Hoods
Protect yourself when working in hazardous arc flash zones with our arc flash clothing and gear. These items are rated from categories 1 to 4+, to correlate with proper safety regulations. Our flame resistant hoods consist of AFHOODs, balaclavas, cotton liners many of which have universal air systems to allow for breathing. Arc flash protection clothing and hoods are well constructed from flame resistance materials, such as ballistic Kevlar® and polycarbonate blends. We carry heavy duty devices such as face shields, for protection against arc blasts when welding, or working near sparks and open flames. We also have safety items for electrical resistance such as insulating gloves, protectors and sleeves and dielectric footwear, all made from rubber to wear around electrically charged areas.
