Description
High-precision solid carbide tip. Close-fitting carbide design for optimum stability and freedom from breakage, no additional safety equipment required. Tip angle 60 Deg. High surface quality on the shank for optimum fit. Complete tool hardened and ground. With carbide tips for applications with high wear. Description: Lathe Centers are mainly used on lathes to support long and slim workpieces, since with these workpieces there would otherwise be a risk of the workpiece bending or moving around as a result of the forces generated. The lathe Center is secured with a Morse taper. The workpiece is clamped in the chuck and a counterbore is added using a Center drill. After re-clamping, the lathe Center is then inserted. Application: For grinding high-precision components. Optional extras: Draw-off nut No. 323230. Note: Order the draw-off nut separately. Geometric dimensions to DIN 806 E. Head length L: 36 mm External Dia D: 18 mm maximum radial run-out: 0.001 mm
