This unit uses one standard 9V battery and includes an auto-off function designed to save battery life. Special test lead input icons integrated into the display prompt the user to ensure correct lead placement for a desired test. Capable of testing AC/DC voltage and current this meter also measures amps resistance and continuity (audible) and performs diode and battery testing ((1.5V) 2000mV/(9V) 20V). Data hold feature captures reading on the display and holds thru multiple tests. Housing is impact resistant and features comfortable and protective rubber boot.
