Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum; Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure; Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions; EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover; Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances); Temperature Range: -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +125 Deg. C); Note: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed; Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications
