The Gefen EXT-UHD600-HBTL extender offers the same picture quality of video quality EXT-UHD600-HBTL, but reduces some features to provide a more targeted application at a reduced-price point. HDMI video/audio, along with bidirectional audio for device control, with single directional POL (Power over Link) are included and are the basic building blocks required for video extension in a number of vertical market categories. Using a proprietary compression method, this solution provides a nearly visually lossless video experience with a high degree of PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio), which is an indicator of signal integrity when compression has been applied. This compression technology is paired with the tried and true HDBaseT technology to deliver a balanced performance/value proposition.
