The 1st Navy Jack Outdoor Nylon Flag is made with heavyweight 200-denier nylon material, specifically treated to resist sun and chemical deterioration. This high quality 3' x 5' flag is ideal for outdoor use, and features a canvas header and brass grommets for easy installation. The 1st Navy Jack flag was used by the United States Navy during the revolution. A "jack" is a flag flown at the head of a battle or warship. This flag was a member of the revolutionary colors flown by the Union during the Revolutionary War. The serpent was a symbol of defiance by the Union colonist against the oppression of the British Monarchy.
