The work surface of this workbench gains added strength from the substantial wooden core enclosed in welded stainless steel. The particle board core is 1-1/2in thick with a phenolic backer for use in clean rooms and food service applications. The type 304 brushed stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant and has polished smooth safety edges and corners. The adjustable height legs feature removable duplex knockouts on front and rear for installation of either a hard wired electrical outlet or an optional plug-in outlet that easily screws into place with no wiring necessary. The adjustable legs are made steel and undercoated to resist rust with a gray powder coat finish. The workbench height adjusts at 1-1/2in increments.
