A better alternative than traditional pool sand, this media can be used in any backwash filter housing. The highest quality back wash media only requires two-thirds the amount of your standard pool sand media. GreenStory back wash media is NOT sand and offers improved filtration. The Premier grade has the same great particulate filtration as our Base Grade, but also includes and patented hydrocarbon removal to keep water clear of oils, lotions, and sunscreens allowing your pool chemicals to work better, as well as the ability to remove heavy metals, VOCs, and other dangerous chemicals. The media is 100x more porous than traditional pool sand and will help improve the clarity of your water.
