Harloff breakaway lock seals are just one of the many locking options offered by the Harloff Company to help ensure the safety and security of medical equipment stored in carts equipped with a breakaway lock bar. These disposable plastic, easy-to-use seals are purchased in packs of 100 and are tamper evident – once closed and affixed to your cart they will break with a sharp pull and cannot be reused. Each Harloff breakaway lock seal features a seven digit number at the bottom of the lock that can be easily tracked by medical staff for restocking and verifying expiration dates. Breakaway lock seals are simple to affix to carts – once inserted through the breakaway lock bar’s predrilled holes, the male end of each seal simply snaps into the female end of the lock seal. Harloff breakaway locks are most commonly used with our emergency crash carts, however they are also a great locking option for Harloff’s pediatric carts, Malignant Hyperthermia carts and MR-Conditional carts.
