Twelve (12) place rotor holds 1.5-2.0 ml tubes and 6 place rotor holds 5 ml tubes. Safety features include manual override for lid. High performance Magnetic Stirrer is designed to stir liquids up to 3 liters and provide powerful magnetic coupling to prevent spin-outs. Allows aggressive mixing, full dilution of samples, and multiple stirring modes (clockwise, counter clockwise, oscillate). Oscillation function is ideal for dissolving solids and stirring viscous liquids. Constantly changing direction of stirring ensures thorough mixing and reduces mixing time.
