About HID Capacitors
HID capacitors are capacitors for high-intensity discharge lamps used in vehicle lighting. Their job is to control pulsing voltage issues that can result in the flickering that is sometimes characteristic of aftermarket HID kits and vehicles equipped with auto-sensing headlights or daytime running lights. Typical installation is simple; simply plug them in—or wire them— between your HID ballast and your car's wiring system.
