Any bowl, plate or container can be used when weighing ingredients. A big and bold readout features a blue backlight for easy viewing in any lighting. The add-and-weigh tare function allows the weight of the container to zero out before adding food. This also allows for multiple ingredients to be weighed separately in the same container. To conserve battery life, the scale has an auto shutoff feature, but can be turned off manually with the press of a button.
