AN style fittings can be installed and removed many times without using any additional sealants or gaskets, whereas barbed fittings and clamped-on hoses can be damaged after repeated use. HPS AN to NPT adapters are made from 6061 aluminum and Type II anodized black to provide improved abrasion and corrosion resistance.
