The specially designed heat shield features a lid that encloses the filter and integrates with the stock air scoop. This prevents radiant heat from entering the engine and directly feeds cooler, denser air to the intake to generate a noticeable difference in driving experience. The addition of the lid to the heat shield also adds an upgraded and clean look to your engine bay while still enhancing the induction sound under heavy throttle.
