This HPS Performance Air Intake Kit replaces the air intake hose from the TRD Performance Air Intake System with high-heat resistant materials that meet or exceeds OE specifications for a maximum temperature rating of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It includes an HPS Performance Air Filter for improved air flow and filtration that is also washable and reusable. By replacing the TRD intake tube with the HPS silicone air intake kit, dyno testing shows increased performance output of 11.8 horsepower and 15.5 lb-ft. of torque at 4000rpm. Acceleration is greatly improved over the standard TRD parts. This intake kit is an upgrade to the TRD Performance Air Intake System and retains the use of the TRD air filter housing, keeping the installation simple. This kit includes HPS 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps that are fit for harshest conditions. No modifications are required to install this kit.
