This electric brake features a 12-1/4 inch drum outside diameter and 3-3/8 inch assembly width (3.37 inch depth), delivering strong, consistent stopping power. Automotive-grade friction material is molded and fully bonded to the brake shoes for increased braking torque and long service life, while tapered edges and circular grinding help reduce cracking, crumbling, and the risk of mechanical lockup. The durable cast iron backing plate is E-coated in silver to resist corrosion and wear. This assembly includes the backing plate and brake shoes, operates as a drum-style electric brake system, and is sold as a right-hand position single unit. Bearing grease is not included.
