Separate or pry apart surfaces such as pipe flanges easily and safely with hydraulic spreaders. Some have a wedge design that inserts into spaces for frictionless, parallel wedging action that prevents damage to the flange as well as the spreading arm. Others have very small pin tips for squeezing into tight, narrow spaces to pop open or disassemble flanges. Some require a hydraulic hand pump to operate. Flange spreaders vary by maximum pressure, application and other considerations. For more fun with hydraulics, see our hydraulic torque wrenches, and hydraulic crimping tools.
