Description

The E316LT1-1/4 Stainless Steel Flux Cored Wire is engineered for MAG welding of low carbon 18%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo stainless steels such as AISI 316L and 316Ti. With a titania-type flux core and low carbon content, it offers strong resistance to corrosion, including pitting and general surface degradation. This wire provides excellent weldability thanks to its optimal ferrite content, reducing crack susceptibility during fabrication. It features smooth, spray-like arc transfer, low spatter levels, and self-detaching slag for efficient cleanup. Designed for all-position welding, it supports both 100% CO2 and 75% Ar / 25% CO2 shielding gases and operates on DCEP DC+. Ideal for applications exposed to harsh environments or elevated temperatures, this wire is available in .035'', .045'', and 1/16'' sizes with 10 lb or 25 lb spool options.
