The E70C-6M Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire in .045'' diameter is engineered for high-strength welding applications requiring reliable mechanical performance. Offered in 10-pound and 33-pound spool options, this wire is ideal for industrial fabrication work including shipbuilding, bridges, offshore structures, and machinery. Designed for flat and horizontal welding positions, it delivers strong penetration and consistent weld quality with low hydrogen content. Its metal-type flux core provides high resistance to porosity and promotes smooth wetting behavior. Suitable for semi-automatic or automatic welding, the wire supports both single and multi-pass processes. It operates on DCEP DC+ with either 100% CO2 or Argon/CO2 shielding gas and meets AWS A5.18-07: E70C-6M standards.
