This E71T-11 flux cored wire is a self-shielded welding solution ideal for outdoor and general fabrication work. Designed for welding 490 MPa high tensile steel, it eliminates the need for external shielding gas, making it convenient and portable. Each spool weighs 2 pounds and fits most standard wire feeders with a 4-inch spool diameter. It operates on DCEN electrode negative and delivers reliable welds with excellent arc stability, low spatter, and smooth bead appearance. The wire features efficient slag removal and high deposition rates, improving productivity on structural and maintenance projects. Meeting AWS A5.20-07 standards, this wire delivers strong mechanical performance with a tensile strength of 530 MPa and 23% elongation.
