The E71T-1C/1M Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire is a high-performance solution for welding 490MPa tensile strength steel across demanding industrial applications. Supplied on a 33-pound spool, it is available in multiple wire sizes including .035'', .045'', .052'', and 1/16'' to suit a range of welding setups. This titania-type wire supports all-position welding and is well-suited for shipbuilding, offshore structures, bridges, heavy machinery, and general fabrication. It offers low fume emissions, strong arc stability, and produces smooth, low-spatter welds with a clean bead shape. The wire can be used with either 100% CO2 or a 75% Argon / 25% CO2 shielding gas and requires DCEP DC+. Certified to AWS A5.20-07 E71T-1C/1M, it also provides reliable impact strength at low temperatures and excellent mechanical integrity.
