Description
The ENiFe-CI Nickel 55 Cast Iron Welding Electrode is specially formulated for repair and maintenance of cast iron components. Designed with a graphite-type coating, it excels in joining spheroidal graphite cast iron and repairing items like motor beds, gears, cylinder covers, and casings. This electrode offers strong crack resistance and solid mechanical properties, ensuring durable welds. It is available in 1/8'' and 3/32'' sizes and comes in bundle options of 1 lb, 2 lbs, 5 lbs, or 10 lbs to suit different project needs. Preheating between 150-300°C is recommended depending on the shape and type of the base metal, with re-drying at 70-120°C prior to use for optimal performance. Classified under AWS A5.15-90 ENiFe-CI, this rod provides dependable results in critical repair jobs.
