Description
The ER316LSi Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire is a 25-pound spool engineered for precision welding of 18%Cr-12%Ni-2%Mo austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 316 and 316L. This wire features a higher silicon content to improve weld pool fluidity and produce smooth, uniform beads with excellent appearance. It is ideal for applications in chemical plants, fiber processing, and paper manufacturing equipment where corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are essential. The low carbon composition minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion during high-temperature operations. Operating on DCEP reverse polarity, it provides stable arc characteristics and reliable weld performance. With a tensile strength of at least 490 MPa and an elongation minimum of 30%, it supports demanding structural and fabrication needs.
