Description
The ER4043 Aluminum TIG Welding Rod is a silicon-aluminum filler metal formulated for welding 6061, 6052, and 6063 aluminum alloys. It provides excellent weldability with smooth bead appearance and reduced risk of hot cracking. Measuring 36 inches in length, this rod flows freely and is also suitable for brazing 1100 and 3003 series aluminum. Its chemical composition includes 4.5-6.0% silicon, contributing to its fluidity and crack resistance. ER4043 is widely used in general aluminum fabrication where strength, corrosion resistance, and good finishing characteristics are required. Available in 1/16in, 3/32in, and 1/8in diameters, it comes in 1 lb, 2 lb, 5 lb, and 10 lb package sizes
