ER5356 TIG Aluminum Welding Rods are designed for welding aluminum alloys of similar composition and are especially effective where a color match is needed after anodizing. These 36in rods are classified under AWS A5.10: ER5356 and are commonly used in automotive, marine, and structural applications. With a high magnesium content (4.5-5.5%), they offer excellent corrosion resistance and good weld strength. The rods help minimize post-weld cracking due to their higher alloy content relative to many base metals. They are suitable for applications where mechanical properties, weldability, and corrosion resistance are critical. Available in a range of diameters and package sizes to match specific project demands.
