ER70S-2 Mild Steel TIG Welding Rods are engineered for welding applications involving mild steel and 490 MPa tensile strength materials. These 36in rods are ideal for structural steel, piping, and offshore drilling rig fabrication. Featuring multiple deoxidizers including zirconium, titanium, and aluminum, they offer enhanced arc stability and weld cleanliness. Their advanced formulation minimizes porosity, even when welding over rusted or mill-scaled surfaces. Suitable for DCEN (DC-) polarity, they consistently deliver smooth welds with reliable mechanical performance. Available in a range of diameters and package sizes, they support both light-duty and large-scale welding tasks.
