This universal 24 Vac combination gas valve is engineered as a direct replacement for the Resideo VR8245M2530/U and compatible applications. Designed for intermittent pilot, direct spark ignition (DSI), or hot surface ignition (HSI) systems, this single-stage electronic ignition valve delivers reliable performance across a wide range of gas-fired appliances including furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. The valve features 1/2 x 1/2 inch connections for straightforward installation in existing systems. With a capacity range of 20,000 to 200,000 BTU/hr for natural gas and a minimum regulated setting of 40,000 BTU/hr for LP gas, this valve accommodates diverse heating requirements.
