What sets IPC Furnace Cement apart is its texture. It is smooth and creamy with absolutely no grit. IPC bonds metal to metal metal to masonry and masonry to masonry. It will not sag crack crumble shrink or pull away when used in accordance with the instructions on the label. IPC Furnace Cement is premixed and gray in color. It is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 3000 degrees F and seal against heat vapor and steam. Ideally IPC Furnace Cement should be applied in temperatures above freezing. But it does have a chemical additive that inhibits freezing making it possible to apply in temperatures down to 0 degrees F. IPC Furnace Cement has a maximum application thickness of .25in.
