Description
The INTERSTATE PNEUMATICS CA440B is an automotive coupler supports tool-free coupling/uncoupling for hose-to-plug/nipple connections. It employs a ball-lock mechanism that is intended to form a seal between the coupler and the mating plug/nipple when connected. Constructed with a brass body and stainless steel bearing components for improved corrosion and oil resistance, the coupler includes a Buna-N (Nitrile) seal. It features a 1/4" body size and a 1/4" FNPT thread size, making it compatible with 1/4" FNPT (female National Pipe Thread) fittings and mating couplers/plugs sized for the 1/4" body/port. The coupler is rated for operation within -40°F to 212°F.
